What it is

The Unifix IPS screw-in plug is the professional solution for secure fixing to insulation boards, thermal-acoustic boards and wood-fibre boards. Designed for installers, thermal technicians and building companies that require stable anchoring without a thermal bridge, this nylon 6.6 plug (article code on request) combines practicality and strength in a single component.

Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.

What it is for

Used for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors.

How to use it

Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
