What it is
The Beko LK-DICHT sealant is a professional compound designed for sealing and insulating ventilation ducts in industrial, residential and commercial settings. Its solvent-, phthalate- and halogen-free formulation makes it suited to situations where safety and durability are priorities, with no compromise on performance.
Sealant is a paste product, in cartridges or tubes, that fills and seals joints and gaps, either remaining elastic or curing hard (silicones, polyurethanes, acrylics, hybrids, construction adhesives).
What it is for
Used in air conditioning and air handling systems, for sealing joints, gaps and service penetrations and for ventilating workplaces.
How to use it
Clean and dry the joint edges, insert backer rod if needed and mask the edges with masking tape. Cut the nozzle at an angle to the width of the joint, extrude the product with the gun in a continuous bead and tool it with a wet spatula before it skins over. Remove the tape immediately and allow the full curing time before stressing the joint.
