Nylon 6.6 plug Unifix

What it is

The Unifix IPS nylon 6.6 screw-in plug (code 0903-880-001-01) is the professional solution for secure fixings to insulation boards, thermal-acoustic boards and wood-fibre boards. Designed for installers, plumbing and heating engineers and building companies that require reliable performance without pre-drilling.

Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for fixing into plasterboard and lightweight partitions.

How to use it

Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
