What it is
Hand wheel with threaded pin. Key specifications: material ABS.
A wing knob (or star knob) is a hand knob with a threaded stud or hole, tightened by hand onto a thread.
What it is for
Used for assembling steel structures, in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly and for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors.
How to use it
Choose the thread of the same size as the stud or hole it is to be fitted to. Screw it on by hand until it sits against the part, then tighten using finger strength only, so it can be removed without tools. Use it where the fixing needs frequent adjustment or removal, not where a firm tightening torque is required.
