Modular safety cabinet for plant protection products and pesticides with spill sump Carvel

What it is

Green painted steel cabinet for keeping plant protection products and pesticides under lock and key on a farm, in a nursery or in a warehouse. It has containment shelves and a leak-tight sump with rubber seals at the bottom, plus three ventilation grilles for natural recirculation or forced extraction. The safety labelling complies with DPR 290/1; two widths, 575 and 1075 mm, and two heights, 1100 and 1850 mm, are available.

Cabinets and lockers are metal or plastic units for storing clothing, tools and cleaning products and, in safety versions, hazardous substances such as acids and drums.

Used for the orderly storage of materials and equipment and for plant protection treatments.

How to use it

Stand them on a level floor and fix tall, narrow units to the wall or floor to prevent tipping. In safety cabinets, keep incompatible products apart, for example acids and alkalis, observe the shelf load ratings and check the spill sump. Keep the doors closed and entrust the keys to designated staff.

Safe use

Keep the cabinet locked and accessible only to staff authorised to use plant protection products. Products spilled into the sump must be collected and disposed of as waste in accordance with the product label.
