What it is
The BPB-TS sleeve anchor by Bossong is a mechanical anchor in galvanised steel with a T.S.E.I. class 10.9 countersunk screw, specific to fixings in uncracked concrete under medium loads. Designed for professional applications, the system relies on the even expansion of the sleeve inside the substrate, ensuring stability and strength. Available in diameters from M6 to M10, it is ideal for building, infrastructure and building services work where reliable, lasting anchorages are required.
A sleeve anchor is a metal expansion anchor, made up of a bolt and sleeve, that expands in the hole when tightened, for fixings in concrete and solid masonry.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill the substrate to the anchor diameter and to a depth at least equal to its length, then clear the dust from the hole. Insert the anchor through the fixture and tap it home until it seats. Tighten the nut or screw with a spanner until expansion is felt, without exceeding the torque stated by the manufacturer.
