What it is
The Bossong BSB sheet-metal sleeve anchor (code BSB) is the mechanical solution for secure anchoring in non-cracked concrete, designed for professionals in industrial building and infrastructure. Ideal for structural fixings where strength and quick installation are needed, it stands out for its reliability under moderate static and dynamic loads.
A sleeve anchor is a metal expansion anchor, made up of a bolt and sleeve, that expands in the hole when tightened, for fixings in concrete and solid masonry.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill the substrate to the anchor diameter and to a depth at least equal to its length, then clear the dust from the hole. Insert the anchor through the fixture and tap it home until it seats. Tighten the nut or screw with a spanner until expansion is felt, without exceeding the torque stated by the manufacturer.
