4-flute SDS bit 4T Bossong

What it is

The Bossong SDS 4T is a masonry drill bit with SDS shank and a 4-cutter head, for drilling concrete, bricks and natural stone with a rotary hammer. In the Bossong range it sits alongside the 2- and 3-cutter SDS bits (SDS 2T and SDS 3T), the SDS-CA for reinforced concrete and the 4-cutter bit with SDS MAX shank, for larger machines. The product data give diameters of 5 and 32 mm.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
