Frame and window anchor RB Bossong

What it is

The RB mechanical plug by Bossong is an anchor in galvanised steel with a class 8.8 steel countersunk head, specifically designed for the secure fixing of door and window frames, gratings and grilles to concrete substrates. Thanks to the integrated anti-unscrewing system and the M8 internal thread, it ensures stability and strength over time. Its versatility makes it ideal for residential, commercial and industrial building applications, with variable lengths to suit different structural needs.

Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
