What it is
The JNS-FOR-TE extended screw-in plug by Bossong is a nylon fixing system with a galvanised steel screw, designed for applications in hollow masonry. Fitted with a TORX hex head, it ensures a secure grip and quick installation, adapting to variable thicknesses thanks to the different lengths available. Ideal for light-duty fixings in building, it stands out for versatility and strength in residential, commercial and renovation settings.
Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
