A magnetic catch holds a cabinet door closed by means of a magnet that attracts a metal strike plate. Some models open with a simple push on the door.

How to use it
Fix the body with the magnet to the side or the frame and the strike plate to the door, facing each other at the closing point. Test before screwing fully home and adjust the distance between the two parts so that the door closes flush and stays shut. Check that dust or shavings do not build up on the magnet.
