Three-chamber grease trap Rototec

What it is

The three-chamber grease trap is an oil/grease separator for greywater intended for professional kitchens, canteens and the food industry. It complies with UNI EN 1825-1 and meets Emilia-Romagna Resolution 1053/2003 (50 l/P.E.) and the ATO8 Forlì-Cesena Regulation, ensuring retention times of >4 min at Qmax and >15 min at average flow. Made of corrugated PE with internal baffles, it ensures durability, chemical resistance and odour-tight sealing. Underground installation with vent and simplified maintenance by means of manhole covers and extensions. Operation by area: Calming area, Sediments, Oils and Grease, Clarification. Use: Primary treatment of greywater from kitchens, sinks, bidets, showers, bathtubs, washing machines and dishwashers.

The grease trap is a tank that retains fats and oils of food origin present in the waste water from kitchens and sinks before it reaches the sewer or the treatment plant.

What it is for

Used for filtering system water and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.

How to use it

Fit it on the kitchen waste line, buried or under the sink, with the flow arrow pointing the right way. Inspect it regularly and empty out the accumulated grease before it fills the tank. Collected grease is disposed of as waste and must not be discharged into the sewer.
