Outdoor grease trap Rototec

What it is

The outdoor grease trap is an oil/grease separator for greywater intended for professional kitchens, canteens and the food industry, designed for underground installation and compliant with UNI EN 1825-1 and Legislative Decree 152/2006. Made of high-strength corrugated polyethylene, it ensures light weight, ease of installation and odour-tight sealing by means of PP manhole covers and vent. The process works by flotation and sedimentation, with internal compartments that promote clarification. Specific operation: - Vent: PP vent connection diam. 1"1/2 - Indicators: transparent indicators to show the grease level - Tank drain: PP connection diam 1"1/2 with ball valve - Odour seal: screw lids with gasket Technical advantages: chemical and mechanical resistance, light weight, ease of installation, easy maintenance, odour-tight sealing.

The grease trap is a tank that retains fats and oils of food origin present in the waste water from kitchens and sinks before it reaches the sewer or the treatment plant.

What it is for

Used for filtering system water and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.

How to use it

Fit it on the kitchen waste line, buried or under the sink, with the flow arrow pointing the right way. Inspect it regularly and empty out the accumulated grease before it fills the tank. Collected grease is disposed of as waste and must not be discharged into the sewer.
