What it is

The DeWalt DCS579T2-QW is the kit version, with two 6 Ah batteries, of the XR FlexVolt 54V circular saw, designed to combine high performance and run time in the field. Equipped with a 190 mm blade and a 30 mm bore, it reaches 5800 rpm no-load and guarantees a cutting depth of 61 mm at 90° and 43 mm at 45°. With a weight of 3.7 kg it stays handy despite the high cutting power.

How to use it

Fit the blade suited to the material, observing the direction of rotation, set the depth just beyond the material thickness and clamp the workpiece. Start the blade before it touches the workpiece and feed steadily along the line or guide rail, without forcing or lifting the machine during the cut. Check that the lower guard always returns to its position, wear safety glasses and ear defenders, and connect dust extraction whenever possible.
