What it is

The DeWalt DCS565P2-QW is a cordless circular saw from the XR 18V platform, supplied as a kit with two 5 Ah batteries. It takes a 165 mm blade with a 20 mm bore and reaches a no-load speed of 4950 rpm, for fast, straight cuts. The cutting depth reaches 55 mm at 90° and 42 mm at 45°, while the weight of 2.8 kg, length of 314 mm and height of 175 mm make it a compact, controllable machine.

How to use it

Fit the blade suited to the material, observing the direction of rotation, set the depth just beyond the material thickness and clamp the workpiece. Start the blade before it touches the workpiece and feed steadily along the line or guide rail, without forcing or lifting the machine during the cut. Check that the lower guard always returns to its position, wear safety glasses and ear defenders, and connect dust extraction whenever possible.
