What it is
The DeWalt DE0736-XJ tripod for laser levels is an aluminium alloy support with a 5/8" thread, designed to position the laser stably during marking out and levelling work. The aluminium alloy construction ensures lightness and strength, while the standard 5/8" thread ensures compatibility with a wide range of measuring instruments.
Laser level accessories are tripods, floor-to-ceiling telescopic poles, thread adapters, targets, clamps and power supplies for positioning the laser and reading its beam.
What it is for
Used for levelling surfaces and structures and for setting out, for laser measurement of distances, heights and areas and for topographic surveying and site setting-out.
How to use it
Mount the laser on the tripod or pole with the correct thread, 1/4 in or 5/8 in, using an adapter if they differ. Place the support on stable ground, level it and lock it before switching on the laser. The target helps pick up the beam at a distance, and the clamp secures the receiver to the grade rod.
