What it is

The Snake-Pro DeWalt DFM2310000 self-tapping anchor is a fixing system with an M10 thread and a length of 31 mm, able to cut its own threaded seat directly in the base material. This self-tapping feature allows a quick, stable anchorage, reducing preparatory steps and simplifying installation.

Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer.
