Abrasive disc 150 - 6 holes DeWalt DT3131-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT3131-QZ abrasive disc, Ø 150 mm diameter and grit 40, is offered in the pack of 25 pieces, designed for intensive use with a large-format random orbital sander. The very aggressive grit 40 is ideal for initial roughing, removing old finishes and levelling uneven surfaces over large areas.

Sandpaper is an abrasive in sheet or disc form, often hook-and-loop backed, for fitting to sanders or backing pads to sand wood, metal, paint and filler.

What it is for

Used for sanding surfaces before painting, for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish and for sanding wood before varnishing or finishing.

How to use it

Choose the same shape and hole pattern as the backing pad, so that the holes line up for dust extraction. Start with a coarse grit (low number) and move to finer grits up to the finish without skipping too many steps. Sand with light pressure, keeping the machine moving, and change the sheet when it is clogged or worn smooth.
