What it is

The DeWalt DW294-QS impact wrench is a corded electric tool with a 3/4" square drive, designed for tightening and loosening large bolts and nuts. What it is for

How to use it

Fit an impact socket, tougher than standard sockets, securing it with the hog ring or detent pin of the drive. Select the mode or power setting, start the nut by hand and run the tool while keeping it in line. For bolts with a specified torque, such as wheels and structural connections, run them down with the impact wrench and finish with a torque wrench; pneumatic models require filtered, lubricated air.
