What it is

The DeWalt DWE4579-QS angle grinder is a large-format corded tool with 2600 W of power and a 230 mm disc, reaching a no-load speed of 6,500 rpm for the most demanding cutting and grinding on metals and thick building materials. With a weight of 5.9 kg and a length of 520 mm, it is designed for heavy-duty, continuous work where maximum power and cutting capacity are needed. The large disc makes it possible to deal effectively with substantial sections.

An angle grinder is an electric, cordless or pneumatic rotating disc tool for cutting, deburring, wire brushing and, with accessories, polishing.

How to use it

Fit a disc suited to the job, with a diameter and maximum speed compatible with the machine, tighten it with the flange and key and position the guard between disc and operator. Hold with both hands using the side handle, start it unloaded and work without forcing and without twisting the disc in the cut. Wear safety glasses or a face shield, gloves and ear defenders, and unplug the machine before changing the disc.
