What it is

Rectangular dome for flat roofs Faelux, model CR: a monolithic polycarbonate rooflight, obtained by thermoforming flat sheets. It sits on a white galvanised or pre-painted sheet metal upstand, single-skin or insulated, with an aluminium frame. It has manual or electric opening and, on request, the fire safety system. Faelux makes it in the standard sizes most common for prefabricated buildings and states that it is resistant to snow and strong wind.

The flat roof dome is a rooflight with a transparent cover, round, square or rectangular, that brings light from above into rooms beneath a flat roof.

What it is for

Used for roof maintenance and for assembly work.

How to use it

Mount it on a base or kerb fixed to the slab, to which the waterproofing membrane of the roof is connected, turning it up at the sides. Fix the dome with the screws provided and check that water drains away without pooling. Wash from time to time with water and neutral detergent, without abrasive products.
