What it is

The bore gauge is an instrument with a dial indicator for measuring the internal diameter of holes and cylinders and checking their shape.
What it is for

How to use it
Set and zero it on a setting ring or with a micrometer. Insert it in the bore and rock it slightly to find the minimum reading, which is the diameter. Clean it and put it back in its case, avoiding knocks.
