What it is
The Fervi C023G dial indicator (0.01 mm) is a precision measuring instrument designed for dimensional control and for checking flatness, concentricity and deviations in mechanical machining. Thanks to its 60 mm diameter dial it offers a clear, immediate reading, with a measuring range of 0÷10 mm, a resolution of 0.01 mm and an accuracy of 0.015 mm, values that make it suitable for everyday checks in the workshop.
The dial indicator is a dial or digital instrument with a pointed probe, which measures small displacements and deviations from a reference: flatness, concentricity, run-out.
What it is for
Used in quality control of parts and workmanship and for measuring on site and in the workshop.
How to use it
Fix it on a stand or a rigid support, with the probe resting on the workpiece and a slight preload. Zero it at the reference point and move the workpiece or the instrument, reading the deviations. Avoid knocks and lateral stress on the probe.
