What it is
The Fervi T051 is a pocket digital multimeter for basic electrical checks. It measures DC voltage on four ranges up to 500 V (±0.5%), AC voltage at 200 and 500 V (±1.2%), DC current up to 200 mA (±1.5%) and resistance on four ranges from 2 kΩ to 2 MΩ (±1%). It also has a continuity test with audible signal and a diode check. It runs on one 12 V A23 battery and weighs 100 g with packaging.
Electrical and gas measuring instruments include testers, clamp meters, cable detectors, moisture meters and gas detectors for checks and diagnostics on site and in maintenance.
What it is for
Used in the installation and maintenance of residential and industrial electrical systems, for inspecting plant, pipework and structures and for measuring on site and in the workshop.
How to use it
Choose an instrument with the measurement category suited to the installation and check that the probes and leads are undamaged. Select the quantity and range before connecting and, on live circuits, wear insulating gloves and do not touch the metal parts of the probes. Switch on and zero gas and moisture detectors in a clean environment before measuring.
