What it is

With a diameter of Ø 9.75 mm, the Fervi ST1A09.75 is a twist drill bit designed for professional drilling that requires intermediate sizes outside the standard values. The flute profile guides chip ejection steadily, contributing to consistent hole quality, while the 118° point angle ensures centring and stability at the start of the cut. The 700-740 HV hardness gives the cutting edge wear resistance during intensive use.

What it is for

Used for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.

How to use it

Clamp the workpiece in a vice, mark the centre and set the speed for the diameter and material: low for hard steels and large diameters, higher for aluminium and plastic. Lubricate with cutting oil on steel; on plastic, reduce the pressure as the bit breaks through to avoid chipping. Insert taper-shank drills into the pillar drill's spindle taper and remove them with a drift.
