Pilot bit for hole saws Fervi F015/005

What it is

The Fervi F015/005 pilot drill bit for hole saws is the centring accessory that guides the hole saw when drilling starts, keeping the operation stable and preventing the tool from moving. With a diameter of Ø 6 mm and a length of 50 mm, it offers precise centring; the weight is just 0.01 kg. The product is certified Italian-made and complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with CE marking.

The pilot drill is the twist drill fitted at the centre of the hole saw arbor: it centres the tool and guides it through the first few millimetres of the hole.

What it is for

Used for drilling wood and panels, for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and for running services through walls, floors and suspended ceilings.

How to use it

Insert it in the arbor and lock it with the screw or the intended system, letting it protrude slightly beyond the teeth of the saw. Replace it when it is worn, bent or no longer centres properly. Use the size specified for that arbor.
