Pilot bit for hole saws Fervi F019/005

What it is

The Fervi F019/005 pilot drill bit for hole saws is the guide element that centres the hole saw at the start of drilling, ensuring stability and precision from the first contact with the material. It has a diameter of Ø 6 mm and a length of 50 mm, with a weight of just 0.01 kg. Certified Italian-made, it complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and carries the CE marking.

The pilot drill is the twist drill fitted at the centre of the hole saw arbor: it centres the tool and guides it through the first few millimetres of the hole.

What it is for

Used for drilling wood and panels, for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and for running services through walls, floors and suspended ceilings.

How to use it

Insert it in the arbor and lock it with the screw or the intended system, letting it protrude slightly beyond the teeth of the saw. Replace it when it is worn, bent or no longer centres properly. Use the size specified for that arbor.
