What it is
The Fervi 0795/2 series of multilock socket wrenches is a multi-profile set dedicated to the larger sizes, with Torx profiles from E12 to E40 (E12 - E14 - E16 - E18 - E20 - E22 - E24 - E26 - E28 - E30 - E34 - E38 - E40) and XZN profiles M12 - M14 - M16 - M18. The multilock system makes it possible to work on different types of head with a single kit, with a total weight of 1.81 kg that reflects the robustness of the sockets.
A socket is a cylinder with a hexagonal or bi-hex profile that fits over the nut and mounts on a ratchet; the category also includes box spanners and T-handle wrenches.
What it is for
Used for tightening nuts and bolts where torque must be accurate and repeatable.
How to use it
Choose a socket of the exact size with the ratchet's drive, standard or deep depending on how far the bolt protrudes. Push it fully onto the nut and pull the handle smoothly, without jerking. Chrome sockets are for hand use only: impact wrenches require impact sockets.
