Combined bayonet filters for half mask against gases, vapours and dust, pack of 2 Carvel

What it is

Pair of combined filter cartridges that attach by bayonet fitting to the Carvel MAS002 half mask and must always be fitted as a pair. They trap organic vapours with a boiling point above 65 °C, inorganic gases and vapours, sulphur dioxide, ammonia and its derivatives, as well as dusts, fumes and mists. They comply with EN 14387 and EN 143.

Dust and gas masks are disposable filtering facepieces and half masks with replaceable filters that protect the respiratory tract from dust, fumes, gases and vapours.

What it is for

Used for respiratory protection against dust, fumes and vapours, for plant protection treatments and for coating wood, metal and masonry surfaces.

How to use it

Choose the facepiece class or filter type according to the substance present. Put on the mask with clean hands, shape the nose clip and carry out a fit check by covering the filters and breathing in. Discard disposable facepieces at the end of the shift or when breathing becomes difficult, change filters when they are saturated, and clean the half mask and store it in a closed container.

Who it is for

Safe use

Replace both filters together when you notice the smell or taste of the substance or when breathing becomes laboured, and keep them sealed until use. Dispose of used filters as waste contaminated by the substance they have retained.
