What it is
The Fischer FAZ II Plus HBS anchor is a mechanical steel anchor for high-capacity fixings in concrete, with seismic certification in categories C1 and C2. It is characterised by a hole diameter d0 of 12 mm and a minimum hole depth of 190 mm, tightened with a 19 mm spanner; it allows the fixing of elements of considerable thickness (100 / 120 mm). Performance is documented by ETA 19/0520 approval and it is suitable for concrete of class 20/25. It is supplied in a box of 20 pcs.
Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
