Aluminium tape is a tape with a metal foil and adhesive, resistant to heat and moisture, used to seal ducts, insulation and joints in installations.

What it is for

Used in air conditioning and air handling systems, for insulation work and for sealing joints, gaps and service penetrations.

How to use it

Clean and dry the surface and apply the tape without creases, pressing it down with a spatula or small roller. Overlap the lengths by a few centimetres. As the foil conducts electricity, keep it away from exposed electrical conductors.
