What it is
The FLS 31 mounting profile by Fischer is a lightweight element for fixing systems, with a length L of 2,000 mm and a thickness S of 1 mm. It has a cross-section of 0.98 cm², moments of inertia ly 1.02 cm⁴ and lz 1.46 cm⁴, section moduli wy 0.64 cm³ and wz 0.94 cm³, with a maximum recommended static load of 0.48 kN. It is supplied in packs of 10 pieces.
The channel or rail is a steel or aluminium bar with a slot, fixed to a wall or ceiling or cast into the concrete, onto which pipe clamps, brackets and other elements are attached with dedicated nuts and screws.

How to use it
Fix the channel with anchors suited to the substrate, level and at the spacings indicated by the manufacturer. Attach the elements to the slot and tighten them to the specified torque. Cut to length and protect the cut area against rust. Do not exceed the loads stated for the length and type of channel.
