Threaded wall plugs GS A4 Fischer

What it is

Fischer GS A4 threaded studs are threaded elements for strut mounting and the installation of services, made of A4 stainless steel, 40 mm long with an M10 thread. Supplied in packs of 50, they combine the practicality of a threaded stud with the high corrosion resistance of A4 stainless steel, which is also suited to exposed or aggressive environments.

Stainless threaded rod is stainless steel rod threaded along its entire length, used for tie rods and anchor fixings outdoors and in damp or aggressive environments.

What it is for

Used for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor, for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated and for supporting pipework and ductwork.

How to use it

Cut to length and clean up the thread by running a nut over it. Fix with chemical anchor or in connectors and tighten with nuts and washers that are also stainless, to avoid galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. In marine or chloride-laden environments, A4 stainless is preferred over A2.
