What it is
Threaded rod by the metre in A4 stainless steel Fischer is a threaded element complying with DIN 976-1, with a length of 1000 mm and threads available from M8 to M20. The A4 stainless steel material ensures high corrosion resistance, even in aggressive environments. It is supplied in packs of 50 pieces.
Stainless threaded rod is stainless steel rod threaded along its entire length, used for tie rods and anchor fixings outdoors and in damp or aggressive environments.
What it is for
Used for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Cut to length and clean up the thread by running a nut over it. Fix with chemical anchor or in connectors and tighten with nuts and washers that are also stainless, to avoid galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. In marine or chloride-laden environments, A4 stainless is preferred over A2.
