Threaded rod kit, M12x250, CSC Edilizia 419C

What it is

The CSC Edilizia 419C M12x250 threaded rod kit is a set of fixing elements for lifeline systems, consisting of rods with an M12x250 mm thread in AISI 304 stainless steel, valued for its high corrosion resistance, with strength class 8.8. The kit, weighing 0.80 kg, is manufactured to the general tolerances of the UNI-ISO 2768 standard and supplies the threaded elements for anchoring the components to the substrate.

Stainless threaded rod is stainless steel rod threaded along its entire length, used for tie rods and anchor fixings outdoors and in damp or aggressive environments.

What it is for

Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Cut to length and clean up the thread by running a nut over it. Fix with chemical anchor or in connectors and tighten with nuts and washers that are also stainless, to avoid galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. In marine or chloride-laden environments, A4 stainless is preferred over A2.
