Applications

Fastening systems, chemical and mechanical anchors, Fischer anchors for all types of substrates (cracked and uncracked concrete, solid or hollow masonry, plasterboard, insulating materials) are fundamental devices in construction and plant engineering. Design is based on Eurocode 2 Part 4 (EN 1992-4) and European Technical Assessments (ETAs) issued according to EAD (European Assessment Document, formerly ETAG 001 for metal anchors, ETAG 029 for multiple applications). Typical materials are galvanized steel, stainless steel A2 (AISI 304) and A4 (AISI 316) for corrosive environments, sized according to concrete class (C20/25, C25/30) and thread diameter (M6, M8, M10, M12, M16, M20). For fire applications, fire resistance ratings R30, R60, R90, R120 are evaluated. Installations require screws, anchors, and fixings on masonry, concrete, and plaster, with the use of tools (drill bit, blade) for hole preparation on site and in the workshop.
