Profile mounting screw FPS-FP Fischer

What it is

The Fischer FPS-FP profile-fixing screw is a fastening element with a diameter d of 4.2 mm, specifically for joining metal profiles in plasterboard framing. It is supplied in a box of 1,000 pieces, a format suited to building sites with high consumption.

Drywall screws are countersunk screws, loose or collated, for fixing plasterboard to metal studs or timber battens.

What it is for

Used for fixing into plasterboard and lightweight partitions, for installing plasterboard partitions and suspended ceilings and for installing partition walls.

How to use it

Use fine-thread or self-drilling screws on metal studs and coarse-thread screws on timber. Drive with a drywall screwdriver or with a depth stop, stopping when the head is just below the surface without tearing the paper facing. Observe the fixing centres specified by the board system.
