What it is
The waterproofing product Kimicover Blindo Kimia is part of the Kimicover line by Kimia S.p.A., a leading Italian company since 1979 in the production of materials for waterproofing systems. Elastic single-component acrylic resin for protective coating of reinforced concrete structures, asbestos encapsulation and anti-slip coating of surfaces with foot traffic
A waterproofing product is a liquid, paste or bentonite product that, applied to roofs, terraces, foundations or bathrooms, forms a continuous layer that stops water getting through.
What it is for
Used for waterproofing roofs, terraces and below-ground structures.
How to use it
Prepare a clean, sound substrate free of friable material, treat cracks and junctions and apply the primer if required. Apply liquid products by brush, roller, trowel or spray in several criss-cross coats, reinforcing corners and joints with mesh or sealing tape and observing the thicknesses and times on the technical data sheet; lay bentonite membranes with overlaps against the pour. Do not apply if rain is imminent or in frosty conditions.
