Spill kit for emergency response with cabinet hook Carvel

What it is

First-response kit for liquid spills, to hang by its hook on the outside of a cabinet so that it is ready beside the stored products. It contains 25 absorbent pads and 2 socks, a pair of gloves, a pair of safety glasses and 2 waste bags. It comes in a universal version, with hi-vis pads, or with chemical absorbents.

Industrial absorbents are pads, rolls, pillows, booms and kits that soak up spills of oil, chemicals or water and stop them spreading.

What it is for

Used for industrial cleaning of production areas, machinery and plant, for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan and for disposing of spoil and demolition waste.

How to use it

Choose the absorbent for the liquid (oil-only, chemical or universal) and keep a spill kit ready near high-risk points. In the event of a spill, put on PPE, surround the spill with booms, cover the drain and lay pads and pillows from the outside towards the centre. Collect used absorbents in closed containers and dispose of them as waste according to the substance absorbed.

Safe use

Put on the gloves and safety glasses from the kit before starting work, and surround the spill with the booms before laying out the pads. Seal the used absorbents in the bags and dispose of them according to the waste code of the substance absorbed.
