What it is
Sterile kit for trichotomy, that is, shaving the skin, which Carvel offers among its defibrillator accessories to prepare the chest before the pads are applied. It contains a heavy-duty twin-blade razor, a pre-soaped sponge, four paper towels, a waterproof drape and two cotton buds. A drawstring bag collects the waste after use.
First aid supplies include first aid boxes, kits, cabinets and dressings to keep ready at company premises, on site and in vehicles.

How to use it
Choose the kit according to the company's risk category and number of employees, and place it in a known, clearly signed and easily accessible location. Check the contents and expiry dates regularly and replace anything used straight away. In the event of an injury, put on the disposable gloves from the kit, dress the wound and, if necessary, call 112.
