Stackable stand for 220 L drums in horizontal position in painted tubular steel Carvel

What it is

Tubular steel support that holds 220-litre drums lying on their sides and can be stacked to make use of the storage height. It has an outdoor anticorrosion treatment with oil- and acid-resistant polyurethane resins and a green polyester finish, a safety colour in accordance with ISO 3864. Available for 1, 2 or 3 drums, with a depth of 600 mm; the Carvel 525-litre wheeled sump with grating can be placed beneath the 3-drum version.

Steel shelving, cantilever racking and mezzanine floors are structures that store goods, drums and materials vertically and create additional usable floor space in the warehouse.

Used for organising the warehouse, for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan and for the orderly storage of materials and equipment.

How to use it

Assemble the structure on a level, load-bearing floor following the manufacturer's diagram, anchoring it to the floor or wall where required. Observe the stated load capacity per shelf and bay, placing the heaviest items at the bottom and spreading the load evenly. Check uprights and beams regularly and immediately replace any that have been struck or deformed.

Safe use

Stack the stands on a level floor, with the drums properly closed and without exceeding the number of drums intended for each version. With hazardous substances, place the stands over a collection bund and dispose of any leaks collected as waste according to the substance spilled.
