What it is
Tecnomix 400 by Officine Polieri is the large planetary mixer in the series: 400-litre pan with a diameter of 1000 mm, effective yield 280 litres, paddles at 32 rpm with a 5.5 HP motor and an oil-bath gear reducer. It weighs 350 kg and measures 1550 × 1300 mm, 1550 mm high. It has a discharge outlet with an anti-intrusion grid, adjustable legs, 135/R13 wheels and an epoxy-polyester finish.
A mixer is a pan or paddle machine that evenly mixes mortars, renders, screeds, adhesives and pre-mixed products.
What it is for
Used for mixing concrete on site and for mixing mortars and adhesives.
How to use it
Set the machine on a level surface and check that the pan or paddle is clean. Pour in the water first, then add the dry material a little at a time with the machine running, and mix for the time stated on the bag. Keep hands and tools away from the moving blades and wash the machine with water immediately after use.
