What it is
The Awelco TORCH AWT MINI 15 MIG/MAG torch for wire welding (code 91012) is the professional solution for continuous wire welding that requires precision and control in confined spaces. Designed for operators working on sheet metal, frames or small and medium-sized components, this torch combines ease of handling and sturdiness for reliable work in the workshop, on site or in the laboratory.
The MIG/MAG torch is the handle that guides the wire and the gas to the weld point; in the spool gun version the spool is mounted on the torch, which is useful for soft wires such as aluminium.
What it is for
Used in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly and in welding and the work that goes with it.
How to use it
Connect it to the welding machine, fit a contact tip and nozzle suited to the wire, and check that the wire feeds correctly. While working, keep it at a constant distance from the workpiece. Clean the nozzle and tip of spatter often and replace worn parts.
