What it is
Synthetic marine braided rope in polyester. Key specifications: material medium-tenacity polyester, machining 16- or 24-strand braid.
Synthetic ropes are fibre ropes and lines for tying, pulling and securing, with accessories such as edge protectors and end caps; they also include bungee cords with hooks.
What it is for
Used for handling goods in warehouses and yards and for moving materials around the site and the warehouse.
How to use it
Choose the rope according to the application: bungee cords for holding down sheeting and light loads, braided cord for lashing, and certified semi-static ropes only for rope access and fall protection systems. Fit an edge protector over sharp edges against abrasion and cuts, and keep the rope away from chemicals and heat sources. Inspect it before each use and discard it if it has cuts, stiffened sections or a damaged sheath.
