What it is

Metrica replacement battery code 60819, a dedicated battery pack which the manufacturer lists as suitable for the Metrica lasers Ref. 60821 and 60822. From the photo on the Metrica product sheet it is an elongated pack with a round flanged head, not a standard-format battery, so it must only be used on the instruments it is designed for. Sold singly, in the Metrica laser accessories range.

The replacement battery powers the laser or the receiver; it can be rechargeable (lithium-ion or nickel) or disposable alkaline.

What it is for

Used for levelling surfaces and structures and for setting out, for laser measurement of distances, heights and areas and for marking out lines, dimensions and reference points before work begins.

How to use it

Insert it observing the polarity, with the instrument switched off. Rechargeable ones are charged only with the designated charger. Do not mix new and old batteries, and remove them if the instrument is not used for a long time. Used batteries are disposed of in the appropriate containers.
