What it is

The liquid gasket is a paste, generally silicone-based, which is spread between two metal surfaces and forms an elastic seal when it hardens, instead of or in addition to a paper or rubber gasket.
What it is for
Used in mechanical maintenance of machinery and plant, during scheduled shutdowns or breakdowns, for vehicle maintenance, in the workshop and on the road and for sealing joints, gaps and service penetrations.
How to use it
Clean and degrease the mating faces, apply a thin, even bead and join the parts before the product skins over. Tighten the screws gradually and wait for it to cure before filling with oil or applying pressure. Remove any excess bead, because it could get into the circuits.
