Large expansion anchor BUL Bossong

What it is

The BUL large-expansion anchor by Bossong is a mechanical anchor in A2 stainless steel designed for structural fixings in concrete. Fitted with a Bulgarian-type anti-pull-through washer (55 mm outer diameter), it is ideal for applications that require high strength and stability, such as strengthening work or the fixing of heavy elements. Available in lengths of 60 and 80 mm, it suits installation needs in building, industrial and renovation settings.

Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
