Large expansion anchor BRB Bossong

What it is

The BRB large-expansion anchor by Bossong is a mechanical anchor designed for use in uncracked concrete, ideal for supporting medium to heavy loads. Made of galvanised steel, it provides corrosion resistance and lasting durability. The system is supplied complete with a class 8.8 hex-head bolt, which ensures a stable, reliable fixing. Available in thread diameters from M6 to M20, it suits different structural needs in building and industry.

Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
