Extinguisher cabinet in polypropylene with inspection glass Regon range Carvel

What it is

Injection-moulded polypropylene box that protects a 6 or 12 kg extinguisher and keeps it visible through an inspection window with an O-ring gasket. The lid closes with a double anti-vibration snap fastener, and the labyrinth profile between body and lid hinders the entry of water and dust even without a gasket. Inside, the extinguisher is secured by a spring-type PVC kit that fits by bayonet without tools, and the box accepts a padlock or seal against theft and tampering.

A fire extinguisher is a portable or wheeled appliance that puts out an incipient fire with powder, water with additives or carbon dioxide, chosen according to the fire class.

How to use it

Mount it on a wall or stand in a visible, signed and accessible position, near the exits. To use it, pull out the safety pin, hold the hose, stand upwind a few metres away and direct the jet at the base of the flames with a sweeping motion. Have it inspected periodically by a qualified technician and recharged after every use, even partial.

Safe use

Where the extinguisher must be quickly accessible to anyone, prefer the seal to the padlock. At every periodic inspection of the extinguisher, check that the glass pane is intact and the gasket is in place.
