Hydrant cabinet with cylinder lock in red galvanised steel with knock-outs Carvel

What it is

Wall-mounted cabinet in red galvanised sheet steel to house the hose of a UNI 45 or UNI 70 hydrant, closed with a cylinder lock. The laser-cut knock-outs are opened according to how the hose arrives, so the cabinet is fitted around the existing valve without removing it. The finish in polyester resins for outdoor use, tested in salt spray, keeps its colour and corrosion protection even near the sea.

How to use it

Mount it on a wall or stand in a visible, signed and accessible position, near the exits. To use it, pull out the safety pin, hold the hose, stand upwind a few metres away and direct the jet at the base of the flames with a sweeping motion. Have it inspected periodically by a qualified technician and recharged after every use, even partial.

Safe use

Keep the key in a place known to the emergency staff and always leave access to the door clear. Periodically check the hose and cabinet in accordance with the fire safety maintenance plan.
